Frequently Asked Questions

Product Questions

What are your wreaths made from?

All of our wreaths are made to the highest standards using high quality products.  We use two types of base: traditional wire frames covered with moss, and a floral foam base.

Our real foliage wreaths are made using spruces and firs from a local tree farm which is approximately 10miles from the shop. Other foliage is purchased from wholesalers.

Our faux wreaths and table decoations are made using high quality silk flowers and foliage. Most of the berries used are made from silk and plastic, some of which are made using 100% recycled plastic.

How long will my products last

Our real wreaths will generally last at least one month depending on where there are displayed and if they are kept wet. A real wreath needs to be kept out of full sun as much as possible and preferably out of strong winds.  You should try to ensure that your wreath is also kept moist as this is what will extend the life of your foliage. Both floral foam and wire bases can be sprayed with water or taken down and soaked for 10 minutes when they are dry. Floral foam dries out quicker than foam.  You may not need to do this if there is rain on a regular basis and your wreath is in the open to get wet. Allow your wreath to drain before re-hanging if you water it as it will be very heavy straight after watering

Artificial wreaths should last you many years providing your look after it.  Ensure that it is kept out of direct sunlight and when you want to pack it away ensure you put it back in the box it arrived in to keep it in the best possible condition. Ensure it is stored somewhere dry and away from vermin.

What's the best way to hang my wreath?

This very much depends on where you are hanging it.  On your front door you could attach it to your door knocker if you have one using ribbon or a cable tie. All our wreaths come with a ribbon tied descretely on the back.  You could also use a suction cup hook on the door and hang using the ribbon on the back.   If you are confident enough to use them you could command strips for a heavy item, using four top, bottom and both sides.

If you are hanging your wreath indoors then an overdoor hook or sucktion cups are good, or just rest it on a shelf or mantel piece

Whichever method you choose, ensure that the holder is strong enough to support the wreath, especially if it's outside and likely to get blown about in the wind

How do I know what size to order

It's vital to order the correct size for your space so that the wreath sits correctly and our can open the door! Putting the right size wreath on your door is also vital to making it look aesthetically correct.  A 10" wreath on a tiny door won't look right and the wreath will become a background visual rather than the focal point.

If you're not sure on the right size wreath then you should measure the width of your door.  Most wreaths are sold as the size of the base rather than the finished size, although we do add this to the product descriptiom as a guide.  A 10" wreath is good for slimline doors. 12" wreaths would suit most standard doors and the 14" wreath is best for larger style doors or historial doors that are extra wide.

Can I return my product if I don't like it?

Your distance selling consumer rights apply to made to order items. However, because these are made to order I have the right to refund you minus the reasonable costs of purchasing the items to make the product - UNLESS the proudct is faulty and this must be proven by the consumer.  The distance selling regulations give you 14 days to cancel your order from the date of ordering and then another 14 days from the date of delivery.  I hope however that you never need to return an order!

I endeavour to ensure that all foliage is securely placed in the foam or moss, but sometimes items will come slightly loose. These can be pushed back into the base and you should check that nothing is coming loose on fresh wreaths regularly, especially if it has been windy.

I encourage customers to get in touch with me if there are any issues or concerns with their order as soon as possible as generally these can be quickly and easily fixed by the customer.

This does not affect your statutory rights with regard to online distance selling.  Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details
